Company demanding relocation

Going to be vague for obvious reasons Husband got a new job 9 months ago at a company with a remote position. They have restructured territories and are now demanding employees live in their assigned territory by Jan 1. My husband has not yet had to travel for his job, but they’re wanting more in person meetings. We are a family of 6- both our families are here, our lives are here, we own our home here, we have teenaged children. We do not want to move. They are reimbursing moving costs up to 10k – which doesn’t seem like enough. We asked for the end of the school year and they extended it till February 1. Besides quitting, is there anything we can do? Are there options I’m not thinking of?
