Supposedly people are remote working from “tropical paradises”, and costing companies money? Why are they trying to frame it at all like that when it really just comes down to “we don't like people working from home”. Who is at a vacation spot and working on projects for their job?
Edit: Wasn't the original story on this that someone thought a zoom background was an employee actually at a beach and not at home? Because they didn't know zoom let you pick backgrounds?
