I manage a repair shop. My boss works in a different city and every time I call he never answers. He made a surprise visit today to my branch. All the managers had a meeting. And I was spooked to find out I was the topic of the meeting. Basically everyone threw me under the bus. I just didn’t even bother explaining myself. A lot of what they said was no longer true or accurate. I explained maybe we need better communication because I thought they understood what was going on in my department.
After the meeting I told my boss the issues I’ve been having and how I wasn’t feeling to good in my position. I said I needed more from him. He just looked at me and walked away. So I approached him again and he said we would talk about it. It’s been hours and I’m fed up. I texted him saying if we did not talk I would make other arrangements. I never got a response.
This is my fourth time attempting this conversation. I feel majorly disrespected. I have wasted so much time at this company and I just feel like they are not looking to grow and improve. I told my boss I would not be the only employee leaving. He was far more concerned with the other employees than me. He basically gave me his answer.
