Today is independence day in my country, national holiday which means no one is working.
My job, however, requires every employee to come to a work party tonight. We don't have to pay or anything like that, but we are not allowed to say we just don't want to.
Thing is, we still have to go to work tomorrow morning, so going to a party tonight would really fuck with my sleeping.
I get along with my coworkers and my bosses, they're all nice people, but not having a choice in the matter really rubs me wrong.
So, am I being bratty for not wanting to go or is this feeling justified? I feel like my personal time is being taken away from me for bullshit parties.
