Hi. I worked in the ONGOING ELECTIONS for the state government of Gujarat state of India – the hub of far right extremist fascists. I write this to share what I witnessed.
Fascist “politicians” doing: Forceful entries in polling stations, Intimidation of and threats of violence to polling staff, violations of rules, operating inside polling stations, checking documents of voters, sending back voters they don't want to vote.
Politicians of leftist and centrist parties: Looking after the interests of fascist politicians, assisting them, completely oblivious and ignorant to the their responsibilities, being the placeholders for formalities sake.
Polling staff doing: colluding with the fascists, breach of official duties, cover up of everything written above, threatening their own members if they report this, submitting fake reports, disregard for rules and authority, misconduct, acceptance of bribes.
Security staff: neglecting and disobeying their polling staff when asked to act against criminal acts of fascist politicians, colluding with the fascists politicians.
Currently, the national government of India is under capture of the far right fascist extremists. So, any act of resistance is met with severe and fatal repurcussions.
