I turned down a job

I recently resigned from a middle management position and decided to take this week to find a job I really wanted to do. A recruiter contacted me and really sold this company about 20 minutes away from my place. The first half of the interview with two managers went perfect. I was excited. They let me walk around with a supervisor and another manager who has worked there for many years and they gave me a completely different outlook than what I had been told before, all the way down to pay, hours and even days I’m required to work. If they tell you what you want to hear just to get you in the door and then the story changes, run. If what the people working the most hours have to say is the exact opposite of what upper management has to say, run. Collectively, we can set those standards for future generations.
