Tldr: I really quit, I got a new job, Matt had to work Thanksgiving, and the side gig with my husband is taking off

First off, I just want to make a big note for anyone reading this, DO NOT QUIT if your employer is going to fire you. Let them fire you. For my situation, it didn't matter, but I don't want to encourage it as it's usually really not the smart thing. You should always let them fire you if you plan to file unemployment, you don't qualify if you quit.
Ok so, update:
I did not respond to Matt or answer his calls for the rest of the day after the initial text convo. Because we're so short staffed, he had to cut his weekend short to fill in. Lol.
I finally called him the next day and said I would only be working holidays (Thanksgiving and Black Friday lol) at 2x normal rate. He was quick to agree so I told him to send it to me in writing.
Then I quit, for real. First I got a new job through a guy that quit here weeks ago. I got everything finalized on Wednesday so I called Matt and told him I was quitting and he got pissed and kinda frantic, kept asking me what to do like it was my problem to figure out. Like I haven't been trying to help him fix our staffing issues for years.
Anyways, I texted the rest of the staff a screenshot of his 2x holiday rate offer and they must have pretty immediately jumped on him because soon enough he's calling me again, yelling nonsense about everyone being out to get him yada yada.
He ended up caving, so the rest of the staff now gets 2x pay on holidays and he is so mad about it.
But the best part is, even with the holiday rate, he couldn't get anyone else last minute to work on Thanksgiving day, as it was now the day before. He ended up offering 3x pay for someone to cover, but nobody on our very limited staff that wasn't already scheduled was available.
So, Matt had to work Thanksgiving. Apparently he threw a real hissy fit about it…to the rest of the staff that was also working on Thanksgiving… I do feel kind of bad for his wife, it's not like she did anything to me. But it was the morning shift so hopefully it just made his Thanksgiving really inconvenient and not totally ruined.
I started my new job and the work environment is night and day, crazy how toxic it all seems looking back. This is my third week and I've yet to hear anyone screaming or threatening to fire someone. Incredible.
As many of you noticed from my original post, this account was initially a throwaway my husband and I made when we were drunk and horny and wanted to post nudes, but all the subreddits rejected us because our new account didn't have enough karma and/or wasn't old enough.
[Which is really, so stupid. Like, obviously people make new/throwaway accounts to post that stuff, so these rules gatekeep a ton of real life horny people who get turned by sharing content. End rant.]
Well, at the encouragement of many of you all, my husband and I started an Onlyfans 🫣 and we have been having so much fun! Maybe I'll even be quitting the new job soon, too… Jk we're really just doing that for fun.
So that's about it, Matt still hasn't been able to secure any new hires so things are nuts back there. He's been working way more than normal and with the holidays I'm sure he'll be working this weekend. I know at least a few more staff members on their way out, so idk what he'll do then.
