So i took vacation this week so I could have the week between the holidays off. Last Thursday I had minor surgery, outpatient, no issues. Thursday night I ended up in the er with kidney stones. To say I have been sick and miserable since is an understatement.
Boss called this morning asking if I would be willing to come in for four hours, triple time. Normally i would consider it, but I explained what was going on. He was like no problem, feel better.
About an hour later I got an instacart delivery with cranberry juice, 7-up, crackers, ice cream and a little teddy bear. There was also a card saying to feel better from my team.
I've never had a Boss like this before.
