Just happened today. I injured my hand and am unable to use it for the time being. Doctors said to discuss workers comp with work. I brought it up. Manager is saying they’re giving me time off to heal, and that “there are no benefits here”. Which is BS because I checked and they’re required by law to have workers compensation. I’m fuming. I’ve been taken advantage before, and I’m sure as hell not gonna let it happen again. I don’t care if I’m only out for a week.
