Been waiting a while to write this, basically my partner left the company I worked for before me and had a dispute with her final pay.
After receiving a letter from her about it my manager called me for a quick chat and told me my partner is uninvited from the xmas do, took me a while to realise that they were asking ME to uninvite her for them.
Now I'm getting all these messages from colleagues asking if I'm going to the party to which I get to reply
“Well, I'd be a pretty shitty boyfriend if I went to a party I personally uninvited my partner from”
Even my manager has asked me if I'm going, how dense have you got to be.
