I work in the airlines (not southwest) as an aircraft maintenance technician. In the breakroom I witnessed a coworker getting yelled at and called the R-word for 3 minutes straight. a coworker was asking the inspector a question about a task they never worked on and wanted some clarification but got belittered for it yelling how as an Aircraft Mechanic you are trained to read every document yourself and not waste other people's time by asking a stupid question and that if he read all the paperwork carefully he would have known the answered to his question.
This was all done in front of the supervisor and numerous other coworkers by the way. Even if the answer was all in the paperwork, yelling and embarrassing him in front of others was not the way to go. I have been in this position for about three months and It's disappointing how people are treated like this just for asking for some clarification. What disappointed me the most is that the supervisor just watched and didn't say anything showing me that they side with the inspector yelling at the mechanics and definitely would shit on themselves herself also.
