Hey everyone, so I just started a new job (100x better than my last one) but they have a point system for attendance. I'm sure this is common in large corporations but I've never worked for one. I get the reasoning behind it but I don't get why you get disciplined for being sick and not wanting to spread it? It's also my first 90 days so it's even more strict. Additionally, I don't have a PCP or insurance yet so I can't get a doctor's note to have it excused. I also wouldn't usually go to the doctor for a cold, I don't ever go to the doctor haha Anyway, just wondering if anyone has a clever loophole or if you wanna join in on the bitching it just sucks that I love this job and have been doing great, yet this red tape bullshit could potentially fuck me
