I got fired from my last daycare because i “was too slow with working with kids”
by that my boss meant that i didnt yell at the kids and id actually try listening to them to understand why they were sad/mad. im a firm believer in not yelling at kids. theres so much better things to do to get the kids to listen to you.
Anyways, i thought if i reported them to DSS for yelling at kids id be overreacting. But im in a daycare now that actually cares about the kids and oh my god guys this is the best daycare ever. I never realized how horrible my last one was until i came here. I talked to my parents to see what they thought about me reporting the former daycare and they told me to go for it. Im glad i did!
