My boss recently asked me to set a time that I take my morning, afternoon and lunch breaks. I didn’t have a problem with it, but he is being very specific. For example I said I’ll take my morning break around 10:30am… and he replied with “no if it’s 10:30, it’s 10:30.” He even told me today that he knows I haven’t been strictly following the times to take my breaks. So some days I take my breaks a little bit off? I don’t feel like taking them literally the same time (same minute) everyday. He even suggested I should put it in my calendar as a reminder! He is only telling me this, because he claims he doesn’t want people to interrupt me during my break, but I said it doesn’t bother me. He hasn’t done this to anyone else. Thoughts?
