Hey guys i need some advice/help

In January of this year I got cut working at a licensed StarBucks near a hospital, and the manager told me to go to the ER to get my cut taken care of as I couldn't work with blood everywhere. I went, had the procedure complete, and then was given paperwork that I filled out and handed the rest to my manager. I was told everything would be taken care of from that point with worker's compensation. Fast forward to now, it's March. On the 1st of February I quit the StarBucks. A few days ago in the mail I received a medical bill saying I owed 650 dollars, this was from the earlier incident from January. I contacted HR and asked why I recieved a bill and they told me the claim didn't go through in January. My question is, where do I go from here, and is there…
