I'm a newly minted manager with a need to hire a bunch people. Fortunately the company is much better aligned with good life-work balance than other places I've been at. It's actually the main reason I'm here now.
I know that listing salary up front is a given. I know to skip the “work had, play hard” and “family” cliche bullshit. I know what red flags to avoid and what NOT to do. But what can we do to earn the attention of good candidates and signal that we actually care about employees more than most?
I've accepted that I am now “the man” but I want to change the work experience like everyone else here.
