Work gave me a 3% raise. Do I even bother trying to negotiate?

Been at my job since April, and there’s been such high turnover that I’m now one of the more experienced people in my position and dept. I also know that my company recently hired peers in a different department for significantly higher than what I make. I would have needed a 15-18% raise to match. I’ve already had prior frustrations with my employer regarding promised work/life balance not being delivered. In addition to handling my responsibilities I’ve been taking on work that’s above my title. My industry is booming and I don’t anticipate finding a new job to be difficult. All that said, if I stick around for at least another year I would hope they would give me a better title. Edit: the alternative to asking for a raise is to just find a new job. I realized I never explicitly said that.
