Just got fired before even starting the job.

I'm honestly in awe right now. Thought I'd gotten a new job, as I was offered it, was told to come into work to do prep (they hadn't opened yet and thus was going to work with no contract), was given part of the uniform, told to buy the rest, added as part of staff and when I did my trial, one of the bosses told me he'd love to work with me and to not put my CV elsewhere. I was just today happy because I got a message saying I was legally employed, just had to sign the contract. I asked if I did something wrong, told “we just need someone with more experience” despite telling me before they were willing to teach me “as long as I wanted to work” and I didn't even GET a chance to do anything.

I needed this job. I'm fucking pissed, frustrated and feel humiliated – why do people like this get away with this shit?
