How fucking stupid is the concept of trickle down economics. I already knew it never worked but after thinking for a minute i realized how much of a lie and a scam it truly is. Let me explain. Whitch one of these sound more logical to you:
Problem is to get money in the hands of the lower and the middle class / money in circulation making the economy run.
“Solution” trickle down: For middle and the lower class to get money they dont give the money to them but to the rich who need money the least. In theory the rich are suposed to use the money to invest in their buisnesses creating jobs but the problem is everyone knows this is bullshit because the number one trait you need to have to be rich in the first place is huge amounts of greed. CEO:s have made more and more money in the last few decades and at the same time lower/middle class have made less and less. If rich people would see the need to invest in their employees that would have happened already but its quite the opposite because they want more and more money so they are paying less and less and giving CEO:s a huge amount of money wont make them start being generous it will only fatten their wallets. And the worst part is the reason why not taxing the rich is such a hugely stupid idea and the exact reason why ancient rome fell and that is if no one takes money forcefully from the rich (taxes) they will only keep it so it does not go to circulation and back to the economy whitch causes economic inflation because if there is no money in circulation more needs to be made.
Trickle up: For the middle and lower class to get money lets just raise salaries so they get money. Bigger salaries means better general well being to employees and a better reason to work because people could actually suport themselves economically by working wow image that. It would also mean better loyalty to the company, better quality work from employees and more interest for people to join the companies so it would be also benefitial to the companies. And the best part is that unlike the rich, middle and the lower class need to use money to survive so the money will be used and go back to circulation soon after it was given so everyone/economy wins. Only problem is that the CEO:s of companies dont now get extra allowance whitch they dont like.
TL:DR: To give money to the people dont give it to those who already have all the money and who will only keep it to themselves that is stupid.
