I just got a message from one of the shittiest, underpaying and overworking call center company im my country, telling me that I “applied” for a telemarketing position for them on InfoJobs. Just logged into my profile on the site, never applied for the company and never would, as it is know for lack of respect and living wages for their workers, mandatory overtime, shitty benefits and shitty supervisors/management.
I'm questioning if this is even legal, althoug it probably is. I just find it funny how these call centers are so desperate to hire. It is well known that turnover rates for these kind of bussines are high, but (at least in my city) I can see a rising movement of people complaining about/actually quitting these kinds of company.
