I need some advice. Being forced back to the office.

I’ll try to make this short. For the past 2 years, I’ve been working from home. 90% of my job can be done this way. I admit there are times where I have to go in. But not often. We are required to come in Mondays, Thursday’s, and one other day of our manager’s choosing. Luckily my manager is cool and let me choose, but I will be getting a new manager soon because of reorganization. I don’t want to go back 3 days per week. Period. It’s a total waste of my time, the commute is annoying, and I’m just so much happier especially with my social anxiety, being at home. Anytime someone tries to not come in the 3 days, some other employee reports it to HR. Should I put my foot down and tell my current and soon-to-be manager that I want to continue to WFH and…

It’s a good job, decent pay, and great benefits, but I’m not happy physically being in the office anymore.
