Having additional hours cut because I called in sick with covid one day

So I work at Walmart a couple days a week. I struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and physical difficulty due to a surgery on my spinal cord four years ago (which I discussed with them upon hiring).. with all that, two days and occasionally a third day is about what I can handle. Due to “a shortage of available hours” I recently have been getting scheduled only one day on some weeks. At least that's the best explanation I can get – I asked my manager why I wasn't still getting two days every week and he said “oh you do a good job, we wouldn't take hours off your schedule without saying something to you first, I'll make sure we get you back on those days” ….which clearly isn't true because nothing changed so I'm now I'm twice as anxious about trying to ask them about it. Anyway… This past week, I happened to test positive for covid so I called in sick the one day I was scheduled.

Now looking ahead at my schedule I see that they have me on for 0 days on the last week, which would have been scheduled after I called in that day. Is this retaliation for me calling in? Has anyone else experienced this at Walmart? I haven't been fired, I don't have the number of absence points accrued for that to be what's happening. So I don't know what else to think. I know it's not Walmart's problem that I'm prone to paranoia or overthinking things to the point of crying, but this sure isn't helping. ….Mental health awareness month, my butt.
