Last time I posted, I was complaining about my company telling me I wasn't good enough, even though I was meeting my job requirements. Today, they sat me down and fired me for ‘not being a good fit’ for my class.
They then went on to ask if I was willing to continue the remaining two weeks until my contract ended. I said no, I'll finish today then. They seemed shocked. Like, it took you 30 minutes to fire me, you want me in full time when I could be job hunting？ No thanks.
At first all I could feel was fear and panic. Now, I feel like a massive weight is off my chest. I'll find something better, it's our job market right now, I'll make the best of it.
TLDR They fired me, and I couldn't feel better.
