In Germany, companies will in future be able to decide for themselves how they want to protect their employees from the corona virus; there will no longer be any mandatory requirements. The nationwide incidence rate has risen to more than 1,600 for the first time.
The federal government has decided this with a new corona occupational health and safety regulation, the previous one expires on Saturday. Accordingly, employers are to prepare a “risk assessment” from next week and incorporate it into a hygiene concept, according to the Ministry of Labor. They must also allow employees to be vaccinated against Corona during working hours.
