For context I'm currently at a retail job making 15 an hour.I submitted a multitude of applications on indeed and after tons of bs I managed to get a in office full time position for $18 an hour.The job has a start date for my training which falls before a 2 week notice period can be submitted. The manager told me she is happy and all but you didn't give a 2 week notice and your gonna leave me short staffed and now the store is gonna look bad due to a higher turn out rate ect.Has anyone else been shamed like this before? And the irony is the employment contract includes the fact that they can fire me when ever they want not one warning or write up required.
