I work at a smaller construction company, less then 30 people. We go through employees fast due to shitty management, no benefits, shit pay, and harassment. But we have had a small group of guys that have worked here 10+ years and they're a great bunch of guys. Well slowly over the last couple years even they are having enough and finding better jobs. Whenever we bring up issues we get blown off or told he's “working on it”. All the while he buys new BMWs and takes vacations every month. Well enough of his “lifers” have left for him to take notice. So he's finally offering paid time off with a catch. For every minute we're late he's going to take it from our PTO. I've never heard of that before, have any of you?
