how do we help raise wages while not hurting workers? i read about living wages and i am afraid that if the federal minimum wage increases workers hours will be cut and there will be more unemployment. i thought about boycotting shopping at stores but i dont think me doing that will make a difference. i feel so bad about how low retail workers are paid and the vast income inequality between store workers and corporate but i dont know what to do to help. how do we get their wages to rise without harming them? how can someone who is not working advocate and be in solidarity with workers interests?
