Hear me out. Claws is basically about a group of women who work hard, hustle and do everything possible for what Desna calls “The American Dream”. No matter how much work this group of women does, they are continually thwarted by an unfair and corrupt system or people. In the end ,the only way the group found any quality of life was by escaping the United States and moving to Cuba . At the very Desna notes that they are happy in Cuba because they can finally enjoy life and have free health care.
