100K Bonus…

So my SO work in HR and their company recently had raises for staff. The raises would be based on an overall score out of 3. 1 being the worst, 2 being meets expectations and 3 being the best employee. The score would be average out of a list filled out by you and your manager. My SO received an average of 2.55 of 3. The catch was anyone over 2.5 would receive a 3% raise and everyone bellow that would get 2%. I know, very generous raises. So we were annoyed that my SO was going to get a 3% but whatever. The HR manager had a team call with all the corporate staff that too many people were going to get a 3% raise and there wasn't enough money to go around so they were going to bump the score requirement to a 2.6 or higher gets a…

So now my SO only gets a 2% raise… Here comes the 100k bonus. After entering the raises for all the staff my SO found a bonus figure on some of the corporate staff. You guessed it. The HR manager that said there wasnt enough money to go around for 3% raises just got an end of quarter bonus of 100k. So my SO decided to apply to other jobs after seeing that and just accepted an offer 22% higher in wage with 100% WFH and every friday off. Just quit your job and go get a better raise elsewhere…
