Many times these jackasses have change my title to always a business analyst and not Engineering….so the payscale and raises would be substantially less.
When i brought all the technical work that I am a doing and the many hats should get me a better raise and rating….”oh is part of your job you are not doing anything unique”
I gave the middle finger to my last work place and put in my 2 weeks notice and took my two week vacation…didnt answer the phone or called into any meetings…
Is been close to 5 years at i am a different role and yes I am wearing again different hats BUT I get damm good raises and was put in for stock options….Stick to your guns no one should be devaluing your skill set and experience I had nothing but shitty-parasite managers.
NOW I am that guy when I get a new manager..
a. Is he a good fit to be my boss?
b. does he look out for his team and provide coverage
c. does he want to build a good team and retain his people?
d. Is my work being rewarded with decent raises every year
e. what are you going to do for me to keep my from looking at other ventures?
