Boss has full unadulterated control of schedule – changed ALL my day hrs to when I said I was unavailable

I started this job about a month ago, I have a prior post about it, but things just feel like they've gotten worse. Originally, I was scheduled for 9:30am to 6pm, I catch a bus across the street at 6:26pm and it was fine for about three weeks. Last saturday, my boss at (Woodwill), let's call her Blancy, pulled me aside to talk. Blancy builds her own schedules. Every day of the week she “comes in early” by herself at 7:30am and leaves at 3:30pm. No other employees are scheduled until 9 or 9:30. We aren't open Sundays because of company reasons and she leaves early whenever a Friday is nice outside and gives herself Saturday off so she can have the weekend to herself.

Two weeks ago she told me that the store looked terrible when we left on Saturday, she came into it *Monday morning and that if that doesn't change or get better that she'll be changing my Saturdays to 10am-6:30pm. I told her I'd be unable to do that, I have to catch a bus and on certain days of the week it stops running and that's the last bus, other days it won't come til a full hour after I would clock out and I'd be waiting on the side of the street.

She told me that wasn't true, that one of my other coworkers “takes a bus and can leave at 6:30” but he goes on a completely different bus going a different way.

Thursday rolls around and she pulls me aside to tell me my new schedule Mon-Sat is 10am-6:30pm. Knowing I said no to those hours. She has no higher up controlling the schedule, it was completely her choice.

So as it stands, the only bus I can take to work still drops me right outside at 9:30 but I can't clock for another half hour but I still have to sit and stare at a wall in the back breakroom for the entire duration because the only things nearby are a grocery and auto parts store and highway.

My boyfriend is back for spring break right now and has picked me up for work twice and other days I've managed to skate out early but yesterday he was busy and I had to stay until 6:30 and watched the bus pass by out the store window. I walked an hour in the rain in the general direction of my house and he got incredibly worried and came to get me.

This is not even my central problem. There are COVID guideline papers from the company pasted on the breakroom fridge and Blancy adheres to none of them. She never wears a mask, I'm not sure any of these people wash their hands.

She has also begun assigning three full racks of clothes to some individuals in the store which have about 120 pieces of clothing each. I am one of the individuals and I also work the main register. About every 30 minutes my hands start to smell disgusting and funky, the closest I can describe it as is probably like pee. It only shows up after I've put away some clothing.

We are expected to do one full rack in thirty minutes and it took me from 10am to 4pm to finish three full racks and I am being penalized for that also. Blancy told our floor manager that she wasn't allowed to help me put anything away, even if she had time or was covering my responsibilities on my break.

This is kind of a back and forth jumble, I apologize I'm just trying to hit the big points but I just can't do this. I go home with random red spots and bruises and sometimes rashes and cuts on my hands and it scares me.

There's no cleaning precautions and there's no COVID cleaning precautions. No wiping doorhandles, no wiping pinpad and screen, no wiping counter, floors are streaked with nasty black and brown marks. Everything is coated with a weird white powdery dust. Everything is disgusting and it's making me genuinely sick, I feel unwell and dizzy towards the end of every single shift.

Blancy talks down to me so much and this place is so disgusting and treats it like her own personal domain. In a lot of ways it just is.

As much as I HATE retail, there are some tolerable sweet spots. This is so far from it. I feel like I'm in a cage. Wildly understaffed skeleton crew store with minimal training and pay.

I've had three different regular visitors tell me they've seen a lot of people literally quit; just come and go because of Blancy and even my other coworkers have encouraged me to leave if I feel the need.

I can't do this 5-6 days a week.

The job itself is just so bad. And there's a really creepy and suspicious coworker who brushed his hand up against behind me while going to the register and our floor manager sends him home early when she has to close with him.

tl;dr
dirty nasty job and manager sabotaging my hours knowing I can't get home, among other things . advice ? do i just quit? I have rent and most utilities covered until May 1st

edit: *Monday morning
