Staffing companies only want them so they dont have to cold call.
Why companies want them I will never know.
I have had three companies do a phone interview, in person interview, portfolio, test, and now ask for 3 references.
It’s ridiculous. Especially when I asked for $28 which is a pay cut from my $35 contracts I have had. It’s just all pissing me off how little companies want to lowball and play games. I’m straight forward either you want to hire me or you don’t. It does not take this extensive of a process.
