We don’t have to be alone

Most of us, if not the majority of us, are surrounded by people – which is good and bad, mostly bad in this current system. We've been taught to be helpless, immobilised, separated from one another so we turn online were we ultimately don't realise the power we have to organise to its full potential. Funnelled into school and ultimately work, still as uneducated as before. Kept herded in the cage that is capitalist realism, the psychological prison and our crumbling mask, misinformation, lack of emotional support and the breakdown of communities and class solidarity (we are ALL oppressed, we just all need to realise it, even the rich but yeah don't fucking let me defend the rich, that's not what I'm about, but we're ALL oppressed by this system. Rich or poor, middle class, working class, upper class, filthy rich, immigrant or national, black, brown, white, blue, red, pink,…

Rich or poor, middle class, working class, upper class, filthy rich, immigrant or national, black, brown, white, blue, red, pink, whatever. Trans, christian, muslim, pan, gay – whatever label we choose to adorn ourselves in.

The internet is a tool, yet we still allow ourselves to be misinformed on a daily basis. Most of us never learn to be critical of it, to think, literally everything I'm saying right now could be helping you or hurting you. Why would we? We've not been taught to. It's on purpose.

Yet we still have this vital tool, as foolishly as the rich minority think we can't use it and that they will still guide us on our sleepwalk to death (never, ever, life, at least as the hell we've come to know it as). They think they can control us (and they've been correct so far) but they can't. They won't. Their reign will come to an end. I promise.

We won't let them, and we shouldn't keep letting them. And we won't.

We can't afford to be hopeless. We needn't be. Laugh in the face of injustice. Cry in the face of injustice. Anything, but stand still.
