Hi. Not completely sure if this is the right sub to post this to but I would assume it’s ok. I just need some advice. I’m 20 years old and I tried college for 2 years and I realized it’s not for me. I was thinking it would be better if I went to trade school instead. I was just wondering if anyone in this sub could explain to me why this is a good option and what programs would be the best for me to get into. I was looking into programs such as hvac, aviation mechanic, and electrical. I would like to hear from people who are in these jobs or have experience with trade school in general. I would like to know how do you like your job and do you think you made the right decision going to trade school instead of regular college. Also how’s the pay and how much experience you realistically need to make pretty good money. I’m in the New York area for context. Thanks for all the help.
