am i entitled to unemployment?

so i got “let go” yesterday from my job. i’ve only been working there for 4 months. i got called into the managers office and was given this spill about how the place was at a loss last month and they can’t afford to pay my position. so they are doing away with my job and let me go. i don’t know a thing about unemployment so just curious. I start school in 4 months so i was really hoping to stay at my job till then
