Has anyone else been dealing with getting interviews and getting flaked on?
I don't consider myself a professional by any means. I have always held high standards for companies I have worked for.
I (31m) born in the 90s conditioned by boomer parents in the Midwest, had to show up to an interview 15 minutes early. And time and time again its still proven to be useless.
In the age of Skype and Zoom, what the hell is going on with these recruiters or interviewers? I have scheduled 3 interviews with companies and sit in front of my laptop or phone waiting for “host” to start the video interview.
Today I waited 30 minutes. Granted 15 of that was waiting early “to show initiative ” so that's on me. But man, most frustrating situations.
