On my second day at work, I created a thread here about my situation and what I had thought about the job. It's been almost two months since, so I gained some experience, plus something to share.
Before I get to the main issue, I'm working for this private/family-owned anything-related windows and doors shop. As an assistant storekeeper, I accept the merchandise, open and organize it, file all the paperwork to the secretary, help customers, answer customers via phone, and the job is physically retraining on my bad knee, when the heavy lifting comes. The problem is that there's just too much to do simultaneously, whilst remembering and not messing up (nothing in particular). That's not something I can do; I'm not a multitasker by nature.
Now, the main issue is, well… the religious aspect. My job is pretty much orthodox, compared to my agnostic, secular ass, and while I respect “freedom of religion and freedom from religion”, these talks (ever since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began) about WWIII, the messiah coming, and Gog and Magog war not only annoy me, but somewhat depresses me to hear.
I wanna give in my two-week notice or just quit on the spot because mentally, I'm not capable at working there anymore.
