Remembering that time when my manager called me on my day off and left me a voicemail that I need to urgently call him back. I emailed him telling him I wasn’t available and would discuss on my next day back at work because he was shady AF and I wanted all communication from him to be done in writing. Well…he took me to HR because I needed to learn that being professional means responding in the same medium that he tried to communicate with me. I left that toxic job and now I have a total unicorn job. They are out there!
