It took me 10 minutes to convince him that my T4 (I'm in Ontario) was correct. He said there HAS to be some sort of mistake on the part of the company and that it should be way more.
Then he asked how we (my wife and I work together) live off what we are paid. We said “we dont.”
He suggested we try and move up in the company to make more money. The thing is, we really like what we do…it's just the pay. There's not one task we perform that, in any other industry, doesn't get someone at least minimum wage.
Besides, by suggesting we move up, he's saying that someone else deserves to do my job for the same shitty pay.
TL:dr Fuck you, pay me.
