I tested positive for Covid yesterday and had to finish my shift at work as no one could replace me. They gave me one day off but have asked to come in to close up tomorrow. I have fever, chills, body aches and generally can’t even go muster strength to get something to eat. This scrapping of self isolation (UK) is really ridiculous as it gives employers a stance to try and push people to go into work. The reason why I caught Covid was because staff members were coming in visibly sick and insisting it’s just a cold.
I understand the government wants to return to normality but, this is not ok.
