My former boss has accused me and my friends of drunk driving ON AN AIRPORT.

First, a little context. I am a pilot who is based out of Traverse City, Michigan(KTVC). In addition to general aviation traffic, this airport sees a lot of commercial aircraft and as such the security of the airport is tight. Everyone operating on the field is required to have a badge issued by the TSA. Without one, you don't get on the field. Period. Flash back two days ago, me and my friends are hanging out at our hangar where we all share an aircraft, having a good time watching planes take off and land, and just shooting the shit. Most of these people either actively work for the fuel vendor and aircraft service company on the field, Avflight, or they're former employees.

As a bunch of young aviation students, getting your foot in the door and making connections is half the battle and an FBO job is usually the ticket in for many.

However this FBO is abysmal to work at. The manager, Margo Marks, is entirely incompetent, and her operations manager who I can't name but can be easily found online with some clever Googling, is just as incapable also. The turnover rate is through the roof, working conditions are long hours with little pay and even less respect from management. In my time there I watched them string along an alcoholic, cover up aircraft damage that they caused, and fire employees just for having the gall to try and speak to their regional manager about how shit they are at their jobs.

Recently a few more of my friends quit together because they found better jobs, and they took that personally. After we wrapped up our little get together at the hangar, the next morning we found out that our former bosses had reported us to the Airport Operations for DRUNK DRIVING ON THE AIRPORT, underage drinking, as well as having unescorted persons on the ramp(people without badges with no supervision.) All of this is obviously a lie. There was no alcohol involved. As a result, the airport has launched an investigation and we are all at risk of having our airport privileges revoked over a lie. I don't see it going anywhere, but the principle of the matter is that our former bosses are so upset about us finding new jobs and us not wanting to work for their shitty company anymore that they're willing to fuck over a bunch of kids(we're all 18-22ish) because their feelings are hurt. The aviation community is small, and if someone even catches a whiff of what was said without knowing the truth, their chances of finding jobs in aviation shrink significantly.

I have never in my life been so angry, upset and confused. It doesn't make sense to me why they'd do this to us.

TLDR: A Massive fuel vending Corp, Avflight Traverse City, is trying to ruin the lives of a bunch of kids because we found better jobs.
