I'm looking for a social work job, and most of the positions out there require a current first aid and CPR certificate before starting the job. I don't have a problem with getting these certificates, I've had them before, but they're fucking expensive, and I'm unemployed. Like, do I pay for the certificate so I can apply for a job I might not get, or do I buy food this week?
Companies should include shit like this in their training once you've got the job, especially for training that need to be kept current and isn't just one and done. Job hunting is expensive enough without adding to it.
