I current work at an insurance wholesale company (one of the biggest in the nation) and my director told me I won’t be getting a raise this year because “it’s not within the budget.”
This is the 2nd year in a row I haven’t gotten a raise….first year I started working I had a rocky start (started February 2020…Covid hits the world a month later and quarantine/WFH)
I brought up the fact that I haven’t gotten a raise since in 2 years and he said he would look into. A month passes I bring it up again he apologizes and says he’ll have an answer for me shortly. Another week passes he calls me and says it’s not within the budget but he’ll try to make something happen.
Haven’t heard from him since….
