Boss refusing to let me leave early

So I know leaving early isn’t responsible trust me. But in this circumstance there was no way to get around it. So I said f it and went in today, told my AM i was leaving early. She basically told me I couldn’t because we had nobody to cover the rest of my shift and I told her there was no way I would be able to stay. So come 1 pm I walked out the doors and she saw me leaving, I may get fired (hopefully) but i’m quitting this job soon anyways so it doesn’t matter
