I have a sister who works at a local small business. We think the employer has been changing her tickets after the customer has paid and refuses to pay my sister the difference. This information is in the company software.
Today my sister confronted her employer through text about it. The employer said she overcharged them [mind u the changing and blaming of the ticket happens frequently]. Anyways, my sister texted back, something along the lines of : okay I might have to contact the board of labor. The employers next text was pick up your things and your fired.
What recourse do we have here? This is fl btw
