Got fired from my job after coming back from an scheduled absence and finding a replacement during this period

Basically what the title says. I have no way of a legal case because I didn't have a contract and worked as a “freelancer” (quite common in this country unfortunately). I had to take a month absence which was scheduled way ahead of time (4mo before) and my boss told me that if I could find a replacement I would be able to get my job once I came back. I persevered and was able to find someone that got hired with that previous knowledge. Now that I returned she's saying that things were quite busy, they had to hire more people… And they don't have enough shifts for me. It's just disappointed that I fell for the “we're like a family” trap, and actually tried to remain loyal to them back a couple of months ago (when the restaurant had to partially close due to a reform and I…

It's just disappointed that I fell for the “we're like a family” trap, and actually tried to remain loyal to them back a couple of months ago (when the restaurant had to partially close due to a reform and I was barely managing to pay my bills). Instead of quitting and looking for something else, I stayed because I liked the environment and my colleagues. Not a single one of them texted me to ask how I am or if everything is okay.
