Manager refused to clock me in while I was working

So I work at a restaurant and we were dead, barely any customers were coming. At 6pm my manager said I could leave since we weren’t busy, and the other 2 girls would handle the rest of the night. (We are hostesses) I clock out and I kid you not, we got an entire rush of customers right as I was about to leave. The other two girls were new so I felt bad and I decided to stay. I ended up basically going back to work for a solid 2 hours. I realized I never clocked back in so I told my manager and she told me she would not adjust my time, since I technically was told to leave and it was my choice to stay and help. Is this true, am I not entitled to being paid because it was my choice to stay? I was actively…
