I cant find anything easily via Google on CA state employment sites to say they can NOT offer sick time. Company is not CA based, where paid sick is also a law. Anyone have resources or thoughts on how to challenge this? CA law 1 hr per 30 hr worked Home office law 1 hr per 40 hr worked My company takes sick pay out of PTO bank, but if you dont have PTO you cant call in sick. Been with company 6 months. Missed 1 unscheled day so far. Got denied day off for Doctor appt
