I didn't care. I made a decision in a slightly drunken state. I am a supervisor in a warehouse at a casino. We are treated very poorly. We see no raises and our benefits are very poor. The casinos are posting record profits. I decided to contact the unions. We love to work but we don't deserve what they are doing to us. We are the backbone and we are treated as though we don't matter. I aim to make a difference and I know it will likely cost me my job. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. If there's a hill to die on, this is the one. Tomorrow I plan on getting the other guys on board. They will be put in a rather difficult position because if we walk out, there will be nothing they can do and that's exactly the plan. I decided I'm going to fight for my people. What they are doing to us is wrong and they get away with it. Not anymore. The power lies in the people.
