Just got laid off, it’s been a good run

So I got hired as a “production manager” at a large car dealership. I knew absolutely nothing about the car industry and got hired on a whim. The place had 2 shops and I had the office in the smaller shop down the street. I was practically invisible and forgotten about for these whole 6 months. I was never trained or even really told what my responsibilities were. After about 2 months the main manager quit. After that is when I was truly invisible. I was put on salary at $1k a week plus a monthly commission. I would literally clock in then sit in my office playing computer games all day. It has been a great run but it’s finally ended. The place was losing money and needed to cut cost. They realized my position wasn’t needed so they laid me off because they couldn’t afford to pay me…
